To pass the time...

A list.
As my waistline slowly disappears, here are a few things I plan to do:

1.Start reading a multiple number of novels.
2.Start crocheting again
3.Start a collection of childrens books for our peanuts very own library
4.Start a new painting project.
5.Study Portuguese grammar
6.Bake cakes
7.Watch lots of movies
8.Start some prenatal yoga exercises
9.Keep a beautiful journal
10.Learn some card games

All in the name of happiness.

Philadelphia cheese and bananas...mmmmmm

ok ok, im going to say what i'm sure i've made quite insanely obvious due to the last couple of posts. I'm 9 weeks pregnant!
We are both absolutely overjoyed, deliriously happy and just grateful. I haven't given the good news to my family yet and they certainly won't be hearing of it through this blog since they don't even know I have a blog! I'll wait a little longer before I tell them.
We had our first scan last week. We heard our little peanuts heart beating away. It was lovely and a relief too. If only I hadn't had a miniature hormonal breakdown wiTH Mr T a few minutes beforehand. I hadn't eaten anything, we had been waiting for what felt like an eternity, and poor Mr T bore the brunt of my wibbly wobbly mood. Sorry Mr T! (ive already apologised but thought I should do it again anyway)
So this, is the reason for my brain freeze. Pregnancy has taken over. I'm eating like somebody who is on the brink of death from starvation. But I have no morning sickness major enough to complain of. I had a few days where I ran like the roadrunner to the bathroom. Glad those days are behind me.
So for the time being, this blog will be a 7 month countdown along with the intermittent artwork, which is of course the central point to having this blog in the first place. But for now, its motherhood all the way!

A little time to think things over..

It's been a tad quiet around here because I haven't had much inspiration to draw and paint. To be honest, i've been ignoring this blog for a while. But for an extremely good reason!I thought I should fess up since I didn't want to keep hiding behind youtube videos. Anyway, I do not intend to abandon the blog and my artistic adventures. I may have forgotten a little of what its like to feel so creative and alive with ideas,in fact Ive forgotten what its like to have a fully functioning brain but it will all come back to me eventually. Just a question of time.

Note to Mr T: Thankyou for the weekend supply of yummy mushroom risotto! You'd do Jamie Oliver proud (although, your wifes approval is byfar the greatest source of satisfaction, naturally). Nothing beats good food and a whole lotta lurrrvve.
