My favourite poem

Wild Geese

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting--
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.

Khairun, hi I just stopped by to see how you are and look what I found a lovely poem, and you are a mother, what a beautiful picture of you and your child that is.
I have been away from blogging too most of 2010, as I see you have also, after a quick look and read. You were asking if you should blog, well, just do what feels right for you. No quilt if you don't blog, you should only do what feels good to you. It's your blog, a place to talk or not talk, sometimes we need it, sometimes we don't, just don't feel quilty if you don't.
Just my thinking on it. I've been to the same thoughts at times.....
Hope this finds you well, and perhaps doing some artwork on occasion. My work is now hanging in a gallery in my city. They approached me last fall and asked to represent me. I wasn't selling my works before that. I like that they do it, cause I don't want to deal with that part at all. So I'm happy.
Got to run, but I'll be back when I have more time...... Cheers....
