Del Kathryn Barton wins the 2008 Archibald Prize for this piece. It depicts Barton with her young son and daughter. I love it, magical, mystical and so expressive of a mothers love for her children. The combination of modern decorative techniques with a traditional figurative style is masterful. Love love love..
