I like this. It shows how much you've come on- it's bold and more confident. You have an enviable eye for colour, pattern and design arrangment. Although it's not abstract but leaning towards a surrealist, narrative concept, it reminds me of Miro and Kandinsky work. Seeing Kandinsky's show at the Tate Modern last year opened my eyes and inspired a newfound respect for abstract work and pattern and colour arrangment.
thanks Nat. I have to start experimenting with acrylics more though. An oil painting of this scale took on alot of turpentine and general toxic smelliness. I needed a well ventilated room for this one! Will go art material next month when i have a bit more dough yippeeeeeee!!
